After the last attempt failed when planted out, I decided to try again!
This time it works 😀

Day 1: Chopped off the bottom of the celery and put in a glass bowl with a little bit of water

Day 4: 1st signs of growth

Day 5: Grown a little bigger

Day 9: Produced 2 shoots
Changed to a glass jar where the roots won’t get squashed by it’s own weight

Day 11: leaves are growing bigger and there are a few roots visible on the bottom

Day 11: Decided to plant it in soil as the leaves are growing bigger and there are a few roots visible on the bottom

Day 12: Still keeping the plant indoors as the weather is too tough for it.

Day 15: The celery plant is happy in it’s new pot and is growing very well

Day 16: not much difference

Day 17: 3rd shoot growing

Day 19: 3rd shoot growing bigger

Day 20: Wow 3rd shoot grew a lot more! catching up with the other shoots

Day 21: 4th shoot growing

Day 22: 3rd and 4th shoot growing bigger

Day 23: 4th shoot has grown as big as the others

Day 24: Not much visible change

Day 30: There has been a sudden growth sprout

Day 31: Left outside in the day time to be hardened

Day 34: Growing nice and big!

Day 59: Growing slightly bigger

Day 58: Not much difference

Day 55: slightly bulkier with more leaves

Day 47: Not much different

Day 46: Not much difference
Day 45: Growing slowly in our 1st new wicking bed

Day 44: Whew, it is finally bounced back!

Day 36: Hmm.. still not recovered.. limp

Day 35: Uh oh.. not looking too happy

Day 34: Growing nice and big!
So time for the big boy to be planted out in our 1st wicking bed.

Day 62: Not much difference

Day 63: looking the same

Day 66: Still not much changed, seems like a slow grower.

Day 121: left it to it’s own devices and it now finally grown quite a bit!
