This past year I have been dealing with post partum depression and it was pretty bad to the point of suicidal thoughts.
Then also learnt that a few of my friends have also had such thoughts.. well lies from the devil.
Then I saw a post re a young girl wrote a suicide message on her Instagram and then killed her self soon after and she said it was too hard. I know how hard it is to feel suicidal but I’m also here to tell you that God has provided us a way to overcome! Our feelings may tell us one thing but they are not the truth.. God’s words is the truth and His word says.. So here is a verse to speak over your circumstances 😀
Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us
Thinking about this verse God showed me to used a butterfly to symbolise the victory we have in God. As when a caterpillar develop into a butterfly, It’s conquered heaps of challenges 😀
I would image it would be very challenging being a caterpillar cos they may get eaten or squished. But also recently I learnt about the tachinid flies that lay their eggs on Orchard Butterfly Caterpillars. Then it’ll eat it alive while it is in it’s cocoon.. eep..
So what ever you are going through, remember you are more than conquerors through Jesus who loves us!!
God has been prompting me with this verse for a while for myself and recently wanted me to do this design.
Remember not the former things, nor consider the things of old. Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.
I choose this photo cos of the last line, “I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert” I see both the way in the wilderness and rivers in this photo;)
Also it was such a great day for Jonacea my daughter! She was soo excited to see this brook with the rushing waters.
May we have child-like faith and excitement my daughter had when she saw this!
I’m keen to forget the things of my past and am so excited for what God has installed for me in this new chapter in my life 😀 This is true for you too;)

I woke up today and it was a struggle! Just then this verse and design came to mind. And I spoke it out! I said “Lord, I put my hope in You, so I know You’ll renew my strength, I’ll run and not feel weary and I’ll walk and not feel faint. Thank you Lord for the strength to look after Jonacea all on my own today.
I also sung out this proclamation that I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me verse “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. Philippians 4:13″ here is the old design I have yet to update with the NKJV version.
After proclaiming these 2 verses out loud, I felt the strength to get up and start the day with joy in my heart 😀
Then I thought about my friends who are currently recovering from Covid, they would have a taste of what it’s like to suffer from Fibromyalgia. Well the fatigue side of it anyways. So if you are struggling find rest in the Lord, put your hope in Him and He will renew your strength and proclaim His truths out loud over your circumstances and feelings 😉
PS: Do you think I should add the last 2 lines “they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.” into the design?
