Super Blue Blood Moon Sunset | Nature | Sunset Photography | Astrophotography | Jonace Aussie Travels

Here is my photo of the Super Blue Blood Moon Sunset; NASA is calling it a lunar trifecta: the first super blue blood moon since 1982. That combination won’t happen again until 2037.

I was so blessed to be able to partake in this beautiful event with close friends.

Instead of just photographing the moon, Here is the Super Blue Blood Moon Sunset above Perth city with yachts sailing around at sunset! That is what I find exciting!

The moon and our beautiful colourful sunset and in this instance, the city of Perth in the backdrop! That to me is the tri-factor with the yachts on the water as a bonus element!

I intentionally kept the photo dark so that you can see the details on the moon better. Part of me is disappointed that the moon was not blue in colour since blue is my favourite colour!

As the moon rises, I was finding it harder to have the moon and the city in the same frame. We stayed till about 11:45 pm and got lots of photos of the lunar eclipse.

I also did a night panorama of the scene with the moon but the moon was tiny and was very bright so as to capture the surrounding nightscape.

I’ll post that tomorrow!

If you like this photo, contact me to purchase a print.

Enjoy,
Grace-yi

I took this photo when I was in Yellow Stone National Park. It was extremely cold that our car windscreen developed ice crystals overnight!

I love how misty the sapphire pool is. Looks all beautiful and mystical. I hope this photo of mine inspires you:)

Not to mention it is my favourite colour!

This photo was chosen as one of the Perth Royal Show Finalist in 2015.

now you can own it in various prints.

Beautiful misty sapphire pool in yellow stone national parkExtra for the nerds out there:)

Temperature 200-202°F [93.33 – 94.44°C]  Dimensions 18×30 feet [548.64 x 914.4 cm] . Sapphire Pool, named for its blue, crystal-clear water and for its resemblance to an Oriental sapphire, was once a placid hot pool. It was not until after the 1959 earthquake that major eruptions occurred. For several years following the earthquake powerful eruptions at two hour intervals reached 150 feet. The force of the eruptions caused the crater to double in size, destroying the biscuit-like formations around its edge, and the crystal-clear water became murky. By 1968 Sapphire ceased to function as a true geyser. Today Sapphire still retains its crystal-clear, blue water, and still violently boils and surges occasionally.

The Grand Canyon | Landscape | Panorama | Photography | Jonace World Travels

I took this photo of the Grand Canyon when we were there a few years ago.

Something very interesting happened when we were there.

I took this panorama the 1st day we got there, where it was clear and you can see the canyon as far as the eye can see.

This expanse was so inspiring, it was HUGE! It took our breath away.

But the very next day.. it was gone, it was just all white!!! God being God was able to hide away this Grand Canyon in the clouds!

So I hope you’ll be inspired by this that no matter how big you think your problem is, God is bigger than that problem 😉

Would you like this print at home as a reminder of how big our God is?

Well, you can have this breathtaking and inspiring photographic art print as an Inspirational Mount on foam of any size you require be it 8 x 6, 12 x 4 or up to 60 x 20! I can even add your favourite bible verse to encourage you further:)
