Be Strong and Courageous | Inspirational Mounts | Photography

Last week I was inspired by a Sermon by Chrishan at Hillsong, Perth

Here is what I took away from it.

Faith has feet, take some steps, walk something out.

The bible verse is

9 Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”

Joshua 1:9″

  1. Be Strong and Courageous because you’ll lead. The thing which you are struggling with, and overcome with God’s power is the ministry we are called to.For me, I suffer from Fibromyalgia. It’s a chronic condition which feels like you have a cold, your head is foggy, your body aches and you are tired all the time with no motivation. The worst thing is, you never know when the pain will ever stop, so it caused depression and anxiety. My heart is for those who have depression and anxiety. I have made it my life mission to inspire hope through my life, photography, designs and music.

Hence the slogan; Sights and Sounds Inspiring Hope.

    Your outlook is your prognosis

  2. Meditate on what God has said.Another thing that I feel God told me to do is to renew my mind with His words. This is why I began designing these foam mounts. You can display it by your bedside or on your wall.Where His words and His beautiful creation will inspire you no matter what you are going through. I believe God is showing me how to overcome the depression and anxiety. I invite you to join me on this journey of renewing our minds with His words His truths.
  3. God is with us
  4. As you begin to climb, it’s possible. God is there to lead us.
Haha.. I also can relate to this when I climbed Snowdon in Wales. I was in so much physical pain, it was my 1st time hiking up a mountain. There were scrabbles and vertical climbs.I had to cry out to God to give me the strength to preserve. I spoke out the words “I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength. ” I proclaimed it over my situation..When you climb the mountain, it may feel like it’s an impossible task but remember there’s a promised land on the other side that God has promised us.

We just need to take the step of faith. I’m still climbing my mountain. I can’t wait till I get to the other side. In the meantime I’ll persevere and trust in the Lord!

I personally can relate to this sermon. I felt God call me to do “The Feelings Range” and to write the “EP Mosaic Heart” for many years. I kept saying I can’t, I don’t have the photo or the skills. it’s too hard. Why me? I’m not good enough.

But the moment I say I can’t but God can through me. Nothing is impossible with God. The moment I submitted my will to God. The moment I said, not my will but Yours be done, God made the way.

It’s taken a while but I am finally at the place where I am on the journey climbing this mountain. I’m not just going to camp at the foot of this huge mountain. I’m going to rely on God to equip me for what He’s called me to do.

I’m so glad that God doesn’t call the equipped, but equipped the ones He called

I pray and hope this post and this design inspires you to not settle for anything less then God’s best for us. Lets us climb the mountain into the promise Land; His good and perfect will! Let us encourage each other on!
