Soo it is hubby’s birthday today and this is what he asked for after I made it for him.
I had to make him think I was not able to do it but hee hee.. But alas I made it on Friday!
here is the cake that hubby requested. It was a rather challenging cake to make from scratch.
This is a VERY decadent cake 😀 and making the Dulce De Leche is really stressful. Watching 2 cans of condense milk boil for 3 hrs praying and hoping it will not EXPLODE!

The recipe has been adapted from Baked Dulce De Leche Cheesecake with toffee Shards and the for the base I used Gluten Free “Nabisco” Graham Crackers
So before you make the cake you’ll need to make the base as that takes time. But even before that.. You’ll need to make the Dulce De Leche!!
Basically, I set the can of condensed milk on boil while I made the gluten-free biscuit for the base.
So to make this cake, make sure you have LOTS of time and energy :p
