Homemade Crispy Microwaved Potato Chips | Cooking Adventures | Vegan

The potato chips was a fun experiment! It was made in the microwave!! So fast and so good!!^^

No more needing to buy chips anymore and I know what is in it!!

I love the red rock deli brand but it’s expensive and I got to say, this taste so much better and I know it’s healthier 😉

Home made crispy Microwaved Potato Chips

  • 1  Potato
  • 2 Tbsp Olive oil
  • Salt and Pepper
Equipment Used:
  • Mandoline
  1. Use the Mandoline to slice up the potatoes thinly.
  2. Put the slices in a bowl and add in the
    • 2 Tbsp Olive oil
    • Salt and Pepper to taste
  3. Toss them around until evenly coated, the oil is important to make it crispy.
  4. Put on a well oiled plate or use parchment paper [Have not tried it with the parchment paper so do let me know if it works]
  5. Microwave  on 850 W  for about 10 mins or until slightly brown [If you have a more powerful microwave, just reduce the cooking time]
  6. Let it cool a little and enjoy
