Using Re-Grown Store bought Bok Choy | Home Grown

A nice little harvest just enough for lunch, no more rotting bok choy in the fridge =p Just got to go to the garden to harvest it FRESH!

2nd time harvesting from this plant. 45 g 🙂

Success! To the point of it flowering.. What to do now? I have read people say to cut off the flowers?

I don’t have seeds as it’s store bought re-grown.. Soo just wondering if I should cut off the flowers or let it go to flower and collect the seeds?

Also how does one collect the seeds?

Presenting my own version of Okonomiyaki which uses our very own store-bought re-grown cabbage greens and ingredients I had around 😀

Finally succeeded in growing store-bought re-grown spinach.. Unlike last time. It did really well in the kitchen, but died when planted out!

I love it how I can keep trying till I succeed and I don’t have to spend more money.

this time round I did things differently

1) I had a better planting system using the wicking bed, it doesn’t dry up like it did last time.

I decided to attempt re-growing store-bought cabbage, below is the progress.. What will come of it? scroll down to find out 😉
