So I attempted to make our very own hot cross buns.

Our uncle has a tradition to bring hot cross buns to family Good Friday events. Alas the bakery will not be open on Friday..

Also.. My sis Jess had made it last year and this which has inspired me to give it a go 😉

I aspire to be able to say that the eggplants and spinach are home-grown.. One day.. One day.. The heat is not too nice to my re-grown spinach atm though..

Stained Glass Christmas Cookies | Baking Advetures

I got my kitchen back on the 23rd and the 1st thing I baked to christen my new oven was…. Stained glass cookies.. to give my family and friends.

It looked easy enough, but looks can be deceiving.. it was challenging to say the least. I burnt the “glass” for about 25 cookies before I was able to get the beautiful glass effect!

What better gifts than this home-baked cookies?
