Re-Grown Store bought Potates From The Start | Home Grown

I have successfully re-grown different varieties of store-bought potatoes and sweet potatoes. It has been an interesting journey filled with ups and downs.. Check out my harvest!

So I thought I’ll start another batch from scratch and show you their progress=)

I hope to inspire people to re-grown their own store-bought vegetables and best of all you get to eat most of the produce and using bits which is usually composted.

Few weeks ago, The potato in our cupboard had eyes so I decided to put it in water..
A few weeks later .. This is the result..
Soo.. Going to do a whole lot of them and record their progress=)

The previous potato sprouted so quickly while i was away that I was not able to keep track of its progress.. So decided to do a new batch.. Used the rest of the potato to cook mash, kept the eyes and put it in water
I think there are 3 varieties of potatoes here..Not sure what they are=p I have not done anything special to cause my potatoes to sprout, I just leave them in the cupboard under the sink in the dark and leave them be. They just do their thing and I cut up a bit of the potato with the eyes as seen and eat the rest.
