How to Prepare and cook Stinging Nettles | Home Grown | Edible Weeds

While using gloves, use a pair of secateurs to cut the stinging nettles into segments then pick the leaves and flowers off the stem.

Use a bigger pot to begin with so that all the nettles will be contained.

Harvested 132 g of stinging nettles for dinner. Put it in a bigger pot and pot on medium high heat

Put the pot on a medium-high heat and when the pot is hot, add a little bit of water so  it’ll steam the stinging nettles. applying heat to the stinging nettles renders the silicon stingers ineffective aka safe to eat.
